Ballroom Dancing with Old(er) Japanese People

I joined a friend at a local "dance party" on Monday without really knowing what was going on. As it turns out, it was an annual social dance party and had enthusiasts from as far as Sapporo. Even though I was about 25 years younger than the average party-goer, it still ended up being a ton of fun:

    too cute! i will save you a dance next time i go to a fancy do :) was there a floral theme going on? i see three ladies with floral outfits!

    Definitely out of my element! I wish I took ballroom dancing back in college but I made up for it by showing them how I got down towards the end of the night :-D

    And there were a LOT of women going floral. I think it's "in" right now for slightly older women here
